Connect to ChatGPT

Step-by-step guide to connecting your Links account to ChatGPT using OAuth.

Overview

Links Connect is available in the ChatGPT App Directory. Once connected, ChatGPT can retrieve and analyze your organization's live business data directly in conversation.

  1. Open chatgpt.com and start a new conversation
  2. Click the Tools icon (grid icon) in the message input bar
  3. Select Add Connectors or search for "Links Connect"
  4. Click Connect

You will be redirected to the Links login page.

  1. Enter your Links account email and password
  2. Click Sign In

Use your Links account credentials — not your ChatGPT credentials. If you signed up with Google, use the email and password associated with your Links account directly.

After signing in, a consent screen will appear asking you to authorize ChatGPT to access your Links data.

  1. Review the permissions listed
  2. Click Allow

You will be redirected back to ChatGPT automatically.

Step 4 — Verify the Connection

Once redirected back to ChatGPT, Links Connect will appear as a connected tool. Try a test prompt to confirm your data is accessible:

Do we have any unpaid Stripe invoices this month?

ChatGPT should retrieve and summarize your live invoice data.

Disconnecting

To remove the connection at any time:

  1. Go to ChatGPT Settings → Connectors
  2. Find Links Connect
  3. Click Disconnect

This immediately revokes ChatGPT's access to your Links data.

Troubleshooting

Login verification email received? If you receive a verification code email during login, enter the code in the verification field to complete sign-in. This is a one-time security check for new devices.
